Re-Engage
Manufacturing through the use of technology is often associated with mass production and impersonal end-products, whilst an artist's creative process can be seen as the complete opposite, often producing a one-off item that is completely personal to its creator.
Turning these preconceived ideas on their heads, Re-Engage looks at artists, designers and makers who are handing over part of the creative process to audiences and consumers, through the use of new technologies such as iPad applications, the internet and 3D printing. Re-Engage offers you the opportunity to interact with some of the works on show and create your very own product or artwork.
