Angela Ibbs (mosaics)
Angela creates beautiful jewellery, decorative interior panels and sculptures using unique hand cut mosaic pieces. The mosaics are created from a mixture of glass, vintage ceramics and millifiori. Inspiration is taken from natural and human form, through folk art and style movements.

Saturday 22nd June
Janette Matthews (textiles)
During this fascinating session Janette will be demonstrating template pleating. This is a method for pleating textiles that combines paper folding, origami and textiles. It was a couture method used pre-war and is still used in France and one company in the UK for pleating fabrics in interesting ways. Janette has conducted extensive research into this technique and developed it using a laser for her recent PhD

Using natural materials gathered from local woodlands, Jane makes small assembled sculptures and vessels in which fragments and details of nature are held up to be admired and reflected upon. These materials include birch bark, thorns, leaves, seeds and pine needles. They are often overlooked and trodden on despite the wealth of colour, pattern and shape they contain.
